Steve started his career in real estate at the tender age of 20 when he completed a traineeship while working at LJ Hooker office in Sunnybank Hills. After little more than 12 months in the industry and having just obtained his real estate agents licence, Steve partnered up with Chris Rolls and started his own office in the inner city suburb of Paddington making him one of the youngest real estate agency principals in Australia. Within a matter of 2 years Steve rose to become one of the top salespeople in the Harcourts group and together with Chris Rolls grew the agency from nothing to one of the largest single agencies in Brisbane with a staff of 40 people and annual turnover in excess of $3 million.

After having made the decision to sell off their interests in the sales business and re-brand the property management department of their agency to Rental Express, Steve is now responsible for the overall growth and business developement department of the business and after little more than 18 months of focus on growing the property management, the organization has now acquired 6 other agency rent rolls and is now one of the largest property management organizations in Queensland with around 2000 properties under management
